 The
beautiful state of Oaxaca sits south of the capital city along the
Pacific Ocean. The region is as diverse as it is vibrant from Aztec

the most popular of which is Monté
Alban. The area is also known for its incredible molé

in the capital, Oaxaca City, is not unheard of. The quaint neighborhoods
surrounding the Zocalo are home to upscale shopping

villages. The beaches
along Oaxaca's south coast are deserted and pristine. You can rent a
hammock on the beach for pennies a night or there are several small
hotels in Puerto
