DGTV Comes Home to Roost
GAINESVILLE, FL., Nov. 1 — Sometimes home is the ultimate destination.
No one knows this better than DGTV, producers of The Destination Guide and the Best of 2012 Tour. The award-winning production company, which has logged more than 100,000 miles on the road this year, is coming Home with a series aimed at today’s homeowners and the issues they face.
Home is a 30-minute show focusing on the challenges and opportunities that exist for today’s middle-income families. Where should I go to get a mortgage? Should we build or buy? How can I increase the value of my home?
“On this show we’re going to explore a lot of the issues families are facing today,” says Larry Roberts, senior producer. “At the same time, we are going to have some fun by looking at the latest tends inside and outside the home.”
Home’s experts will offer tips on everything from remodeling on a budget to conserving energy to refinancing.
Home’s producers currently are in production on the show’s first 13 episodes, filming both in Florida and at businesses and manufacturing facilities all over the country.
Upcoming episodes include: New Year’s Resolutions; The Ultimate Winter Survival Guide; Home Expo Las Vegas Spring Show; and Home’s Guide to Spring Cleaning.
Home is produced by Gear Media Group, Inc., an award-winning TV production company based in Gainesville, Fl. Gear Media also produces the Best of 2012 Tour and The Destination Guide.
Home targets women ages 25-52 with incomes above $75,000. The show airs to more than 50 million homes across the country in top 100 markets. Check your local listings for dates and times.
