Singapore streetSingapore's international style is evident in its attrations. The Raffles Hotel provides a distinguished Colonial atmosphere exuding history and charm. Have a drink in its bar, the birthplace of the Singapore Sling. There are many other important Colonial buildings in this area such as the Parliament House, Victoria Concert Hall and a few churches.
There is a distinctly Asian flair in Chinatown with its maze of roads packed with temples and vendors selling all sorts of treats. The restored area of Tanjong Pagar gives an especially clear image of old Asia. Take a cable car rideto Sentosa Island, home of Underwater World, a fabulous marine park with underwater tunnels.
